Under the general direction of the City Manager, the Public Works Director plans, organizes, directs, and supervises the operation of the City’s Public Works Department to maintain the quality and safety of the City’s infrastructure.

DeWitt Charter Township, Michigan

The DeWitt Charter Township Manager serves as the chief administrative officer, under the direction of the Board of Trustees. The Manager is tasked with overseeing the efficient and effective management of all township operations and public improvements. The Manager ensures the enforcement of township laws and ordinances, supervises all departments comprised of 79 employees, manages financial and physical resources, and serves as the primary advisor to the Township Board. This role is integral to the strategic planning and operational success of DeWitt Charter Township, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to residents and the continuous improvement of the community.
